  It's a shame I can't give zero stars for this review. I would never go back to this garage. First, I don't think anything in the sales pitch we received for the Smart car we bought turned out to be accurate. We were told that, although Skipton don't service Smarts, the car could be picked up and dropped off for services so on that basis we bought a Mercedes service plan. They don't drop off and pick up. We were told not to take out insurance against scratches and scuffs to the bodywork because the panels were all plastic and cheaper to replace than the excess on the insurance. They're not all plastic on the new ones; they're not especially cheap to replace (as we found out when they replaced one at an exorbitant cost). Incidentally, when we complained about any of this we were accused of lying and subjected to extraordinary rudeness, especially from Wesley (who I see is praised in another review - I assume he's more polite if you're buying a Mercedes). Anyway - having to take the car to Harrogate once a year for a service wouldn't be so bad... except the car has had to go in for repairs every couple of months. Because it's faulty. It spent 3 months of our first 24 months of owning the vehicle in for repairs. However, this garage won't accept a rejection of the car and this has been backed up by Stratstone (for reasons unexplained) and so we are stuck with this pile of junk until we can afford to return it. When we first bought this car we were contemplating returning to the garage to buy our main family car. I can safely say I would never willingly go back to this garage and would recommend anybody I meet to steer clear. Furthermore, having received such unsatisfactory responses from Stratstone customer services and from Mercedes, I would not purchase a car from any of their other garages either. The most disappointing transaction I have ever been involved with. (EDIT: Thanks to Stratstone Customer Service for their reply; unfortunately it came less than 24 hours after telling me, by email, to basically get lost.) (FURTHER UPDATE: Went to NCS over this issue and the company refused to engage with the issues at all. I would seriously not risk doing any business with this company at all, and I am so relieved that we never went back and bought a Mercedes from them after the appalling service and treatment we have received.

  Brilliant service and customer care from Marc and Ryan couldn't have asked for better, picked up our Mercedes A Class On Wednesday, absolutely love the car would definitely recommend thank you
